"Myths" Finalist in 2023 Los Angeles Cinematography Awards

The official video for recording artist/composer Munk Duane's single "Myths" has received its second film laurel as a Finalist in the Los Angeles Cinematography Awards (LACA) in the Music Video category. Earlier in February, the video was also selected as a Semi-Finalist in the New York International Film Awards.

"Myths" was directed by Dom Portalla, who also directed Munk's New England Music Awards Video of the Year winner "Another Day Another Bullet", and features, Steve Davis on bass, Matt Heisler on drums, Arman Wali on keys and actor Trey Ciano ("The Marvelous Mrs Masel", "Dexter: New Blood", "Julia"). The video was filmed at Spire Center for Performing Arts, Plymouth, MA. The song was mastered by Brian Lucey's Magic Garden Mastering, Los Angeles, CA.

Los Angeles Cinematography Awards (LACA) is a film festival with monthly film submissions from around the world that demonstrate excellence in the art of cinematography and filmmaking.

LACA gives special emphasis on encouraging and promoting up and coming cinematographers and directors, highlighting their works with a screening in Los Angeles. Their main goal is for your film to reach an audience, introduce your vision as a creative artist and help you step up your career as an emerging filmmaker.
